We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Treegr, an innovative company specializing in eco-responsible gift cards. This integrationmarks a major step forward in our shared commitment to promoting sustainable and responsible consumption.

🧩 So me initiatives, few results

For several years now, despite our efforts to support eco-responsible brands, the results have not lived up to our expectations. Indeed, the "made in France" and "eco-responsible" categories together account for less than 1% of the 200 million euros worth of gift cards we distribute each year. This contrasts with the desire of 80% of French people to consume in a more environmentally-friendly way(via an ADEME study). The main obstacles identified are price and lack of transparency on product impact.

In a difficult economic context, where inflation and geopolitical uncertainties are omnipresent, our alliance with Treegr aims to make eco-responsible products more accessible and attractive. We will be working together to highlight these products on our platforms, improving their visibility and facilitating their access. This collaboration will enable us to reach a wider audience, both individuals and professionals, and effectively communicate the values and products of our suppliers.

Through the introduction of the new catalog and the internal structuring of CSR initiatives, uggy hopes to stimulate change among both its customers and its teams, with the help of Treegr's expertise.
